Tapa - Spanish for "lid" or
"cover" - was a small dish
placed on a drink to prevent
insects getting into the
glass. It became the custom
to put a few olives or small
portion of food on the plate.

PAELLA

Named after the pan that it's
cooked in, not the
ingredients, paella is the
national dish with it's origin in
the rice-growing area of
Valencia province.

With so many good (and bad)
restaurants in the area, we
are often asked which we can
recommend. For consistently
great food and service,
"MISTER X" is NUMBER 1!
